Happy Birthday Stacy!

Happy Birthday to my little sister!

We had a birthday party for Stacy on Sunday. It was so much fun to have breakfast with family and friends. I made an egg casserole in the crock pot. It was really good! I also made some fruit skewers with some of Tyler's home made whipped cream. Delicious!!

And the highlight of the breakfast was a double decker cake from VooDoo Doughnuts! We also got a couple dozen regular doughnuts...However, there is nothing regular about VooDoo Doughnuts. They have some wild doughnuts and they were so good!! Such a wonderful and fun way to celebrate Stacy's birthday!

I love you Stac! I am so lucky that you are my sister!!

Here are some pictures of Stacy's special day

The Birthday Doughnut!

Mmmmm.....Doughnuts! Check out the captain crunch doughnuts, and the "Grape Ape", and the oreo cookie doughnut

Allie's home for the weekend!

My girl was home all weekend!!

Allie flew in on Thursday night and we it was so good to see her face and hug her! I have really missed her over the past month. We picked her up from the airport and went to get some dinner. I was lucky to be able to take Friday and we went and did some
shopping and hung out together.

We had pedicures, talked, fixed her phone, talked, hugged,
got her a new laptop, talked, hugged, etc....

Bill and I are going to try to go down to Ashland in a few weeks for a weekend visit. Then Allie will be home again for ONE WHOLE WEEK for Thanksgiving! Then she goes back for a week and a half and then she will be home for ONE WHOLE MONTH for Christmas break!

Homecoming 2009....Part 2

Homecoming for Matthew & Carlie

Matthew went to homecoming last weekend with Carlie. It has been a tradition with his group of friends to go to Chevy's Restaurant for homecoming dinner and this year was no different. Matthew looked great in all white with a purple tie and purple shoes!!
Only Matthew could pull this outfit off.

Carlie and Matthew make such a beautiful couple!

Homecoming 2009

Homecoming 2009

Jalen & Courtney had their homecoming festivities last weekend. It was a fun filled weekend that would have been even better if I hadn't have come down with a high fever and a terrible cold. But, there is no rest for the weary....so I muddled through.

Jalen was nominated for the junior homecoming princess for her high school. We are so proud of her! On Thursday there was a homecoming parade before the homecoming game. Some friends of ours had a red convertible mustang and he drove Jalen around during the parade. So cute!

Thursday night was the homecoming game. I know that it's a little strange to have these events on a Thursday, but there was no school on Friday. I stayed home from the game, but Bill went and took some pictures for me. Taylor was Jalen's escort.

Sweet picture!

Friday was spent with girls all getting ready for the dance over at our house. Aunt Stacy came over and helped with hair. The girls looked absolutely AMAZING!

I LOVE MY GIRLS SO MUCH!!

GORGEOUS!!!!

Instead of going out to dinner, Bill and I made dinner for the group. It was a huge hit and I loved hearing the laughter coming from the dining room.

Listening to music while waiting for dinner

The weekend was a huge success! I am one lucky Mom!

Coming up next.....
  • Matthew's homecoming
  • Grandma Schroeder's visit
  • Allie comes home for a weekend!

Never a dull moment in the Ryan Household!!!

Woo Hoo!! Then they played the Sophomores who were the winners of the Seniors and the Sophomores game. The lost the last game in overtime!! The score was 6-0. Big Bummer! But the girls had a great time and they looked adorable! Even under all of that face paint!

We've got spirit! Yes, we do!

Happy Birthday to me!!

Wow...38 years young!

I had a wonderful birthday. We had my family over for breakfast on Sunday morning. Right before we moved I had my favorite picture of us enlarged. I had the intention of getting it framed after we moved and got settled in. Well, for my birthday present, Bill had that picture framed and it looks beautiful. I can't wait to hang it in our room!

Also, I have to say again how funny our children are! They seriously had me laughing the entire day. It was so wonderful!

My sister used her doughnut maker to make the sweetest little breakfast treats!
Thanks Stac!

Here are some more pictures from my birthday breakfast! Thanks for coming everyone!

So much to blog about!

So much to report!

It's been so long since I have blogged, so grab a cup of coffee and settle in for a big post about what's been going in our lives for the past month.

We have moved into our new house! We love it so much and we feel so blessed to be living in this house! Moving day went so smoothly thanks for wonderful family and friends. It was a really long day, but we managed to work hard and have some good laughs in the meantime! Thanks to Jaylin, Boy Alex, Mom, Papa, Mom McCown, Dad, Tyler & all of our kids who worked so hard to make sure that our move was successful! We love you all very much!

Here are some pictures from moving day!

Our hardworking crew!! Thanks everyone!

Bill is such a hard worker! I love him!!

Thanks for everything Alex!

Matt worked so hard! (When he wasn't texting or on the phone with his girlfriend)! Ha ha....

Mom McCown made a wonderful lunch for our working crew while we were moving!
It was so wonderful. Thanks MOM!!

About a week after we moved into our new house, it was time for Allie to unpack and repack her things so that we could take her down to college at Southern Oregon University in Ashland. We had some friends and family over for some ice cream and wish Allie GOOD LUCK at college.

Larissa, Jalen, Allie, Taylor, Courtney, Kaela & Carly

Nice eyes Jalen & Courtney! Ha ha ha Silly Girls!

It was a whirlwind trip. Thanks to Dad for letting us use the truck to move her down.

Our college girl.....**SIGH**

Allie's dorm room is really cute! We spent Thursday and Friday putting it all together and organizing her things. Of course, there was a trip to Walmart on Friday.

We went out to dinner with Allie and Alex on Friday night to a great little Italian Restaurant called Pasta Piatti. Seriously....Really great food.

Saturday came along and it was time to say goodbye. I knew that it was going to be hard to leave her, but it was harder than I thought it was. I cried on the way home from Ashland to Eugene. I even had to turn off the radio because all of the stupid songs were making me cry. Bill was wonderful and supportive and even laughed at me a few times, which I really needed! It is really difficult to cry and laugh at the same time. :o)

Here are the pictures from our trip to Ashland.

BEFORE.....

AFTER.....

Bill, Allie & Angie....Sitting on her bed in her dorm!

Bill getting her laptop on-line!

And if that wasn't enough excitement in our lives, we had a wonderful birthday dinner over at Wayne & Jaylin's house on Tuesday night. It was such a nice evening and I wanted to say a big "Thank you!" to Wayne and Jay for hosting a birthday dinner for us. We had such a nice time! We love you both very much!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!

I love this picture! Taylor's face is priceless! Thanks for your help Courtney! Matthew, Kaela and Larissa and just smiling from cheek to cheek!

Matthew & Taylor worked on some worship songs

Thanks for coming Kelli! It was great to see you and it really meant ALOT to us that you were there to help us celebrate!

One of many birthday songs from my children! Too funny!

Well, that about sums up our life over the past month or so. We are getting settled now and we are still unpacking boxes, but it's coming along. We thank God everyday for our family and friends that have helped us and supported us during this transition in our lives. We feel blessed beyond compare!
