CONGRATULATIONS CAPTAIN ALEX!
Alex made captain of the Westview Dance Team last week. She had to go through an application and interview process with the coaches. She will be head captain with her friend Ellie. We are so proud of her. This is going to be a great year for her as a senior.
DANCE TEAM BEACH TRIP
Last weekend, I went with the dance team to the beach for the dance team beach trip. We all had a great time. Right before we all got in the car to go down to the beach, the coach randomly handed out CD's with 1 song on it. During the ride down to the beach, each car of girls had to come up with a funny "spoof" dance. When we got down to the beach, the girls had to perform their dances in the middle of town! It was totally hilarious to see what each car came up with. Each song was different so there were some really original and funny dances. Alot of the people in town gathered to watch our impromptu performance. The coaches then picked the "best of the worst" routine. Our car won 1st place!! Good job girls!!
The girls had some great bonding activities and a bon fire on the beach. This is going to be a great team! We are so excited for this coming year!!
